Smart grade systems

Grading is a critical step in ensuring your potatoes and onions meet market demands with consistent quality. This process involves sorting the produce by size, weight, and quality, often with the help of advanced automated systems.

Key aspects of grading include:

  • Size and Weight: Ensuring uniformity to meet specific market requirements.
  • Quality Control: Identifying and removing defects such as bruises, rot, sprouting, or discoloration.
  • Advanced Sorting Techniques: Leveraging automation, optical, or laser technology to assess characteristics such as shape, skin condition, and internal quality.

By implementing innovations like AI-powered sorting systems, grading processes can become even more precise and efficient. These technologies not only improve product quality but also reduce waste and ensure customer satisfaction.
With our expertise, we help you achieve optimal grading results, tailored to your market needs, ensuring both quality and profitability.

Fieldpro equipment

Efficient and reliable field equipment is essential for every stage of the production process, from planting to harvesting. The right tools ensure precision, minimize waste, and maximize yields, all while reducing labor requirements.

Key categories of field equipment include:

  • Planting Equipment:
Potato Planters: Designed to ensure uniform seed spacing and planting depth, featuring precision controls for optimal crop establishment.
Onion Seeders/Transplanters: Suitable for direct sowing of onion seeds or the uniform planting of sets and seedlings.
  • Crop Maintenance Equipment:
Weeders and Cultivators: Effective mechanical solutions for weed control between rows, improving crop health and reducing competition.
Sprayers: Used for applying pesticides, herbicides, and foliar fertilizers to protect and nourish crops.
  • Harvesting Equipment:
Potato Harvesters: Multi-row machines that efficiently dig, separate, and convey tubers with minimal damage, ensuring a clean and market-ready product.
Onion Harvesters: Specialized equipment to lift, trim, and clean onions, with additional features like windrowing for easier collection.

With a focus on innovation and efficiency, our field equipment solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of your crops, local conditions, and production goals.

Instore solutions

For storing and sorting potatoes, onions or fruit, there are various solutions available to support you in the process.

When it comes to storing, think of equipment such as receiving hoppers, bulk fillers, box fillers, conveyors, and more. For sorting, there are advanced solutions designed to ensure quality and size specifications are met, helping you comply with buyer requirements.

Smart water savings

By optimizing water usage and consistently using clean, disinfected washing water, you can significantly reduce costs while enhancing the value and safety of your agrofood products.

Savings:

  • Up to 95% on process water usage
  • Elimination of water discharge costs
  • Reduced equipment maintenance and downtime
  • Minimized waste and extended shelf life by preventing cross-contamination

Benefits:

  • Improved food safety
  • Longer shelf life due to reduced germ load
  • Higher product quality with less or no pesticide residue
  • Strengthened reputation as a socially responsible entrepreneur

Smart cool storage

Optimizing Climate Control for Potato Storage
Effective climate control is essential for maintaining the quality and shelf life of stored potatoes. We specialize in creating tailored solutions to monitor, automate, and optimize the environment in and around your storage facility.

From precise temperature regulation to humidity control, we work closely with you to identify the best systems and technologies to meet your needs. Whether it’s integrating advanced monitoring tools or implementing automated humidification systems, our approach ensures your potatoes are stored in the ideal conditions.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do. We stay up to date with the latest advancements in climate management to provide solutions that not only preserve your product but also enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Tracking and tracing:
Product Traceability: Ensuring Compliance
Traceability is essential for maintaining food safety and meeting legal requirements. Suppliers must track products throughout production and distribution, answering key questions like: What is the source of the product, and where is the rest of the batch?

With stricter regulations like the EU Deforestation Regulation, the focus on transparency and accountability has grown. Using advanced tools like IoT, blockchain, and automation, we provide tailored solutions to monitor, optimize, and integrate traceability into your operations.
Whether you need a manual, automated, or hybrid system, we can design a solution that meets your specific needs. Contact us to learn more.

Packaging Stations

  1. Bagging Machines:
    – Semi-automatic or fully automated systems for pre-packing produce in mesh bags or biodegradable packaging.
  2. Labeling Machines:
    – Print and apply labels with barcodes, weights, and traceability information.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Produce Misters:
    – Keeps produce hydrated and visually appealing (typically more common for leafy greens than potatoes or onions).
  2. Ventilation Fans:
    – Ensures proper air circulation to reduce moisture buildup and prevent mold.

Potato processing: Comprehensive Solutions for Processing Lines and Equipment

We specialize in end-to-end solutions for processing lines, ensuring efficiency and precision at every stage.
Our expertise covers:

Processing Lines:

  • Washing Line: For thorough and efficient cleaning of produce.
  • Peeling Line: Designed for precise peeling with minimal waste.
  • Cutting Line: High-speed, accurate cutting for consistent results.
  • Flake Line: Specialized for producing high-quality flakes.

Processes:

1.Infeed & Pre-cleaning (Separating)

  • Potatoes are fed into the line from storage or bins.
  • Large debris like soil clods, stones, and plant residues are removed using shakers, rollers, or sieves.

2. Destoning

  • Stones are separated from the product, usually using a water bath or hydrocyclone (based on weight differences).

3. Washing

  • Potatoes are washed in a drum washer or washing flume with rotating movement and water jets to remove soil and dirt.

4. Brushing / Polishing (Optional)

  • Rotary brushes may be used to further clean the potatoes and improve their appearance.

5. Drying

  • Excess water is removed using air blowers, vibrating sieves, or soft brushes to prepare for inspection and packing.

6. (Optional) Visual or Optical Inspection

  • Manual sorting or camera-based systems remove damaged, rotten, or discolored potatoes.

7. Sorting

  • Potatoes are sorted by size, shape, or weight using grading rollers, drum sorters, or optical sorters.

8. Transport

  • Graded product flows are directed via conveyors or belts to the correct outlets.

9. Storage or Packing

  • Peeling
  • Cutting
  • Washing (after cutting)
